The GK Story: Making a KiMPACT

Gail Kim is probably the most synominous Knockout that you associate with TNA Wrestling. After making her debut & aligning herself with Jeff Jarrett & AMW, Gail Kim became the face you hate to hate. Her stunning looks that she didn't get to display on WWE TV came out when she accompanied Chris Harris, James Storm and/or Jeff Jarrett to the ring. Gail proved to be an asset in Jarrett's Army, but it wasn't long before she made a name for herself in a different right.
Not long after her debut, Gail found someone to push to their limits: Jackie Gayda. Gail made Gayda's life a living hell. This came to its most tense when Gail asked Jackie why she was acting like a moany b**** again, and Jackie announced that she was pregnant!! Out of fury, Gail fired Jackie, and she never surfaced again (Jackie, not Gail)
Now with nothing to do, Gail came out more often than usual in AMW's tag matches, but when AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels started a rivalry with Gail's team, Gail proved that she can fight with the best of them: after all, she did put AJ Styles in her patterned Dragons Whip submission maneouvre! But Styles & Daniels had a "neutraliser" in store for AMW & Gail in the form of Sirelda. When she debuted at Slammiversary 2006, Gail was left confused at what Styles & Daniels had pulled off and as a result, AMW lost the tag team titles. Gail spent a while trying to tackle the new Amazon that had entered TNA, and managed to do so at No Surrender, showing that size doesn't matter.
Things began to deterriorate for America's Most Wanted. By the end of 2006, the team were losing almost every match they had. When it came down to a Losing Team Splits Match, the tension blew up as James Storm betrayed his partner of 10 years. Gail Kim was left in the middle of the neverending problems between Harris & Storm, and when Harris was sidelined, Gail stood up to Storm. That was until Jackie Moore (formerly known as Jacqueline) debuted to take out Gail. For the first part of 2007, Gail & Jackie were brawling like the guys, having Strret Fights and backstage altercations. What they didn't know is that TNA were about to give them the opportunity of a lifetime....
It was announced in the fall of 2007 that TNA was finally going to bring in a Knockouts title, as well as 5 new TNA Knockouts to fill out the new division. In the first showcase, Gail Kim took on Amazing Kong (later named Awesome Kong), and it seemed that Kong would be the dominant force. But at Bound For Glory 2007, there was no denying Gail's will & determination to become the first ever TNA Knockouts Champion, and as a result, she beat out 9 other top TNA Knockouts to win the coveted title! This led onto a bitter feud between Gail & Awesome Kong. Kong literally beat every Knockout in her path, from Christy Hemme to Angelina Love, but Gail was busy trying to find a weakness. The two feisty Knockouts had many altercations before their match at Final Resolution 2008, with Gail being able to pin Kong! However, Kong & her new associate, Raisha Saeed, were not particularly happy. So for the first time ever in iMPACT history, the Knockouts headlined the show, with Kong winning the title. Ever since, Gail has been on a mission to bring back respect to the Knockouts Title, and along with ODB, they both plan to get the title away from Kong...even though they dislike each other too.
