Divas Champion Eve vs. Alicia Fox vs. Maryse vs. Gail Kim

Eve and Maryse paird off at the bell, while Kim and Alicia did the same. Gail got kicked in the shin by Fox, who then hit a Northern Lights suplex, leading into a sequence where everyone was breaking up pins and going for covers. Fox gave Kim a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Eve gave Maryse and Fox forearms and dropkicks. Fox and Maryse double-teamed Eve. Kim got on the apron and gave Fox a headscissors while Eve put Maryse in an armbar. Kim let go of her headscissors to break up Eve’s hold on Maryse. Kim put Maryse in an armbar of her own, then Fox broke it up and she put Maryse in an armbar. Maryse escaped to the floor. Eve put Fox in a camel clutch, while Kim put Fox a Boston Crab at the same time. Maryse tossed Eve and Kim out of the ring, leaving her to face off with Fox.

They argued, then Fox shoved her. Maryse hit some forearms and a side kick for a cover, but Eve broke it up. Kim came in and dropkicked Eve and Maryse. Kim hit Maryse with a shoulderblock, then a missile dropkick for a one count, as Eve broke it up. Kim got yanked down off the apron by Alicia, who dropped her face first on it Eve gave Maryse a neckbreaker in the ring, then went to the top rope and hit a moonsault. Fox broke up the cover, throwing Eve to the floor, and Fox covered Maryse for the pin at the six minute mark.

Winner and new Divas Champion: Alicia Fox.

Eve Torres, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim & Mickie James vs. Alicia Fox, Vickie Guerrero, Maryse, Layla & Michelle McCool.

Both teams entered as a unit, no individual entrances. Vickie has “Excuse Me” themed wrestling gear now. All the face divas charged the ring, and all the heels ran off, except Vickie, who was protected behind the referee. Vickie bumped into Gail Kim and backed her up to start the match. Vickie posed, while Beth Phoenix tagged in. Vickie turned, saw Beth, and screamed. The face divas then tagged in and out, taking turns pounding Vickie Guerrero in a corner. Vickie screamed “Do you know who I am?” at Kelly Kelly, who responded with a kick and her legdrop finisher. Michelle McCool ran in and gave Kelly the Faith Breaker. This led to a sequences of each Diva coming in, one by one, and hitting their finisher, ending with Beth Phoenix giving Alicia Fox a Glam Slam. Phoenix turned her attention to Vickie, who was cowering in the corner. McCool saved Vickie by kicked Phoenix in the head. McCool and Layla then convinced Vickie Guerrero to go to the top rope. They helped her up there, and Vickie pointed to the heavens, then gave Kelly (who was still out from the Faith Breaker) a pretty bad frog splash. Cole called it a “hog splash”. Vickie covered Kelly, but Kelly’s shoulder rolled up off the mat. Vickie dropped her weight on Kelly over and over with splashes, then got the pin at the four minute mark. Yes, Vickie scored the pin. She celebrated by doing the old Eddie Guerrero shimmy.

Winners: Alicia Fox, Vickie Guerrero, Maryse, Layla & Michelle McCool.

02/21/10 – Elimination Chamber PPV Results

Maryse approached Gail Kim and said something in French, then talked in English about how she and Gail had more class than the Smackdown Divas. Gail responded in French, and revealed that she knew Maryse was trashing her in French all along. Gail Kim said she was taking the title tonight, and bid Maryse goodbye in French.

Before they could lock up, Vickie Guerrero came out, to monster heat. Vickie complained about the way the Raw Divas have been disparaging the Smackdown Divas. Vickie said she was postponing the Diva Championship match, and instead was making a tag match with Kim & Maryse vs. Michelle McCool & Layla. Well, I guess we’ll be waiting longer for that match now!

Maryse & Gail Kim vs. Michelle McCool & Layla

Kim put Layla in an armbar at the start, but Layla pulled free. Layla went for a quick cradle for a two count, then fired off some kicks. Gail dodged a charging Layla, and Gail hit a sunset flip for a two count. Gail hit a bodyblock on Layla in a corner. Gail went to the top rope, but McCool kicked her off the ropes and to the floor. Maryse told Gail to get in the ring, while McCool & Layla hit her with a double baseball slide kick. McCool rammed Kim headfirst into the mat, then put her in a chinlock. McCool went for a backdrop, but Gail kicked it away and hit a clothesline. Kim crawled to Maryse for a tag, but Maryse shoved her back into the ring. McCool kicked Kim and then hit the Faith Breaker for the pin at the four minute mark.

McCool & Layla left, and Maryse got in the ring and pulled Kim up off the mat, then gave her a DDT. It was rather quiet for all of this.

Winners: Michelle McCool & Layla

1/31/10 Royal Rumble Results

Dark Match Result:

Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres & the Bella Twins defeated. Jillian Hall, Katie Lea, Natalya, Maryse & Alicia Fox in a dark match prior to the start of tonight’s pay-per-view. Kelly Kelly picks up the pin on Alicia Fox, with a flying cross body from the top rope.

This match will be an exclusive on the Royal Rumble 2010 DVD.

Enough was enough, and Mickie James charged into the arena, first taking out Layla before entering the ring. Shocked, Michelle was caught off-guard and Mickie was able to use that to her advantage. Mickie quickly hit the Mickie DDT to defeat Michelle.

Not only did Mickie regain the Women’s Title, but she got some sweet revenge by shoving cake into Michelle and Layla’s faces. Mickie James’ actions spoke louder than words, as she returned the humiliation she has endured for weeks.

While karma was not in Michelle and Layla’s favor, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, The Bella Twins, Eve and Maria showed Mickie their support by celebrating her victory in the ring, proving to Mickie that they are her true friends.

Match Number Two: Kelly Kelly, Melina, and Gail Kim versus Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, and Natalya Neidhart

Gail and Beth start things off and Beth with a kick and punch. Gail kicks back and connects with a forearm. Beth stops an Irish whip but Beth catches Gail on a cross body but Gail with a rollup for a near fall. Beth with a shoulder tackle and punch. Michelle tags herself in and she punches and kicks Gail followed by an uppercut. Gail with a kick and a rana. Michelle seeks refuge next to Natalya’s legs and she tags in. Gail with a rollup for a near fall. Gail with a forearm but Natalya with a knee and forearm. Natalya with a slam but she misses an elbow drop and a charge into the corner. Gail with a cross body into the corner. Gail with a kick to the head from the apron and Kelly is tagged in. Kelly chokes Natalya in the corner with her boot. Natalya misses a clothesline and Kelly with a satellite head scissors. Natalya gets Kelly up in a wheelbarrow set up and drops her on the top rope and gets a near fall. Natalya runs Kelly into the corner and then Michelle and Beth attack Kelly while Natalya is with the referee. Michelle tags in while Natalya holds Kelly after a sunset flip attempt. Michelle with a knee to the head and then she runs Kelly into the corner. Beth tags in and she snap mares Kelly and gets a near fall. Beth with an arm bar and chin lock. Beth keeps Kelly from making the tag and Michelle tags back in. Michelle with a snap mare and a sleeper. Michelle with a knee to the head and then she connects with a knee lift. Beth tags herself in and she sends Kelly into the turnbuckles. Kelly kicks Beth and then hits a rana for a near fall. Kelly with a jawbreaker and Melina tags in.

Melina with a matrix and she punches Beth. Melina with a drop kick and a drop toe hold that sends Beth into the ropes. Melina with a screaming knees into the back and a screaming hair toss. Melina counters a slingshot suplex with an inside cradle and Michelle switches their positions while the referee was not watching. Melina with a screaming tilt-a-whirl head scissors for a near fall. All six women were in briefly. Beth grabs Melina and hits snake eyes and then gets Melina up for the sit out butterfly driver for the three count.

Winners: Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, and Natalya
